We are looking for high level Representatives in many countries in Africa (except Senegal, Mali, Ivory Coast, Ghana and Nigeria).
Requirement
Demonstrated ability to leverage an extensive network of top‑tier contacts— including government ministers, senior business executives, and entrepreneurial leaders—across the agricultural value chain in your country.
Main Responsibilities as Country Representative for Expo & Business Matchmaking
Governmental and Regulatory Affairs
Secure the participation of the ministries in your country at the Abidjan exhibition:Coordinate high‑level confirmations with government officials
Manage protocol for VIPs and official delegations from your country in Abidjan
Engagement of Businesses and Stakeholders in Your Country
Secure the participation of cooperatives, processors, and agricultural companies from West Africa at the Expo & Business Matchmaking in Abidjan
Obtain partnerships and sponsorship from companies in your country
Collaborate with agricultural associations and professional bodies
Establish media partnerships with African agricultural press
Conduct outreach to diaspora entrepreneurs
Logistics and Operations
Negotiate room blocks in Abidjan for participants from your countryCoordinate airport transfers and local transportation
Manage catering for participants from your country, respecting cultural and dietary requirements
Cultural and Protocol Management
Integrate the customs of your country into the program and protocolAccommodate religious practices and prayer schedules
Arrange gifts and cultural exchange items
Commercial, Marketing, and Communications in Your Country
Lead relations with the press in your country and coordinate the distribution of press releasesRepresent G.E.L. Reveron to companies and organizations in your country for invoicing and payment follow‑up. You will receive a 15% commission on each payment collected.
Execution During the Event Week
Ensure coordination of all operations related to participants from your country: sponsors, booths, etc.Serve as the liaison for ministers in your country
Main Responsibilities as Country Representative of SokoAgri™
SokoAgri™ (Origin: Swahili + English, Meaning: “Market” + “Agriculture) is a dynamic online marketplace that empowers smallholder farmers, agricultural cooperatives and agribusinesses across Africa to showcase and export their products. By aggregating volumes—exceeding 1,000 MT per month—SokoAgri™ delivers bulk-quality produce to international buyers worldwide.
1. Governmental & Regulatory Affairs
Forge relationships with your country’s Ministry of Agriculture, Trade and Export Promotion to secure formal recognition of SokoAgri™.Advocate for favorable policies and fast‑track any necessary registrations or certifications so local producers can trade seamlessly on the platform.
Serve as protocol lead for any official site visits or virtual briefings between SokoAgri™ leadership and government delegations.
2. Business & Stakeholder Engagement
Recruit and onboard smallholder cooperatives, processors and agribusiness firms—ensuring they understand SokoAgri™’s quality standards, pricing model and export procedures.Identify and negotiate partnerships with local input suppliers, finance providers and extension‑service organizations to strengthen your country’s SokoAgri™ network.
Build media relationships with national and trade press to amplify success stories and platform milestones.
Engage diaspora investors and off‑takers to explore co‑marketing or off‑take agreements through SokoAgri™.
3. Logistics & Operations Support
Coordinate collection hubs and sample‑drop points in key production zones, liaising with transporters to move goods from farm gate to export warehouses.Oversee scheduling of quality‑control inspections, arranging agronomists or third‑party labs as needed.
Manage any local‑level packaging, labeling and customs‑preparation services so that goods arrive export‑ready.
Provide on‑the‑ground support for farmers and cooperatives—troubleshooting shipping delays, quality issues or regulatory questions—and liaise directly with SokoAgri™’s central operations team.
